Solar South West Ltd has financially strong ownership with funding from private equity, JB Wheaton & Sons and the AH Warren Trust
(businesses with a combined turnover of £70m).

Based in Crewkerne in Somerset, SSW have tested and expanded their expert knowledge through a diverse range of projects, providing commercial and domestic solar PV solutions throughout Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Hampshire and beyond. SSW are proud of the reputation and trust they have built with their customers going into their 8th year of operation.

In a world where fossil fuels are limited, nuclear is expensive, and neither are sustainable – the goal of SSW is to continue to contribute towards the development and deployment of clean, renewable solar generation and storage technology. SSW act on a constant commitment and passion for providing clean energy solutions at an affordable price, no matter how big or small the project.

Leading the team

Nick Keeler

Nick Keeler has successfully run engineering businesses for over 20 years. His long-held interest in renewable energy is shared with co-founder Mark Wheaton. Nick’s technical expertise & hands-on approach led to the large PV array at JB Wheaton & Sons, & the birth of a new company.

Tim Noyes

Tim has been an approved NICEIC commercial contractor for over 25 years. His knowledge of electrical systems in large commercial buildings, including hospitals, shopping centres and factories makes his experience somewhat unique in the solar sector.

Joe Hartley

Joe has been with us since 2011 & has worked hard & successfully met the tight deadlines imposed by tariff reductions. His hands on experience and knowledge of installing solar mounting systems, sometimes in the most awkward of locations, is highly respected by industry colleagues .
