Description

This Solar Edge system provides 40% of the annual household electrical demand, including power for 20,000 miles from an electric vehicle. It provides electrical domestic hot water heating and lithium ion battery storage, which is also configured for using off-peak power at night tariff rates. The total electricity budget is now £500 per year, compared to £2,800 at market rates, this excludes the £3,500 saved on fuel through the electric vehicle. This high end project uses a SolarEdge inverter and optimisers, alongside a 10kWh Energy Bank. The battery provides a continuous source of power, even when the sun is not shining.
