A ban on new petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles is set to be introduced in the UK in 2035 meaning electric vehicles (EVs) are likely to be adopted as the main form of transport. The charging infrastructure needs to keep pace with this. SSWUK offers charge point installations for the workplace and for public use and under the OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme, the government will contribute up to £350 per socket for up to 40 charge points.
